The Treasure of Sumatra

Le Magic Land Théâtre returns to Château d’Attre to present their new summer 2025 creation, “The Treasure of Sumatra”.

A somewhat eccentric researcher and his young wife set sail aboard the indomitable Espadon, a vessel skippered by Captain Blanchard.

Braving every danger, the boat heads for Sumatra in search of a lost treasure — but the journey is long and perils await our friends at every port of call.

In the finest Magic Land tradition, this new participatory creation immerses us in 19th-century Jules Verne and the world of great explorers. So don’t be surprised if, at each stop, the audience transforms into an impenetrable jungle or a gathering of wild beasts
